This eliminates the fear of the restaurant to ask to charge a cancellation fee as this can be built in to the booking terms.
It also allows a more streamlined payment process at the end of the evening. The customer can just simply leave the restaurant and the transaction takes place in the background. When the amount of the total bill is automatically updated and charged to the customer’s card which they agreed to in the pre-authorised amount.
It also allows the option of sending a follow up question via SMS which then allows the customer the option of including a tip if they believe they’ve received exceptional service.
